Garden Volunteer
Hampton Gardens is a beautiful and unique place to explore and we now have volunteer opportunities available for those who love gardening. Volunteers support our small team in caring for the gardens and working on new initiatives.
Being a Garden Volunteer gives you a chance to spend time outdoors, learn new skills, and be part of a friendly team all while helping to keep the gardens looking their best for visitors.
What you'll be doing
Pruning – Working with a wide variety of plants, each with different seasonal needs, to keep them healthy and thriving.
Weeding – Keeping beds clear and soil healthy in the beautiful gardens.
Paths – Helping ensure the gardens remain accessible and welcoming for visitors.
Raking & Edging – Focusing on the small details that make a formal garden stand out.
What you'll need
A genuine enthusiasm for gardening and horticulture.
A friendly, positive attitude, even on rainy days!
The ability to work well with others, and to stay focused when working independently.
Willingness to follow guidance carefully, including completing any online training if needed.

- Season: Our gardens are open six months of the year, but volunteer opportunities exist throughout the year.
